Join us at RSPB St Aidan’s for an evening discovering the equipment and techniques required to successfully photograph many beautiful objects in the night sky.
Led by the Wakefield and District Astronomical Society this interactive session will give you the opportunity to learn about what types of astrophotography can be achieved with basic equipment such as Lunar, Widefield and Startrails.
There will be a range of optical equipment available so you can see first-hand how different cameras and kits are used. As well as plenty of opportunities to get your questions answered and, weather permitting, live demonstrations of astrophotography in action. If you wish to bring your own equipment you could receive hands-on advice about how to get the best from it and opinions around taking any next steps in your astrophotography journey.
