Welcome to the Wakefield and District Astronomical Society website

Our Society was started by a few people who got together on the Star Gazer's Lounge forum wanting to get together for a few local star gazing meets, after about 6 month's there were a few of us now meeting up locally who all had a different range of scopes and knowledge of the night sky. Since then, the socisety has continued to go from strength to strength.
